Job Title: Mechanical Equipment SpecialistJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Mechanical Equipment Specialist to join our team.As a key member of our technical support department, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining complex machinery.Participate in regular training sessions to improve your technical skills and knowledge.Develop and suggest plans for inventory management and spare part procurement.Analyze machine quality issues and propose improvements.Assist colleagues in conducting on-site inventory of spare parts warehouses.Familiarize yourself with all company and customer safety policies.Install, repair, and maintain injection molding machinery, linear robots, hopper dryers, auto-load systems, chillers, and related software and control systems.Perform thorough safety checks on equipment.Familiarize yourself with all company procedures.Demonstrate equipment usage and provide customer training.Troubleshoot machine failures and performance issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.Document findings and actions.Procure replacement parts as needed and document potential future replacements.Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or on-site visits in a courteous and professional manner.Provide maintenance and operation recommendations or on-site services to customers.Compile written reports on all service calls, documenting key contacts and machine workloads.Offer after-sales service and technical training to customers and agents, covering equipment safety, operation, maintenance, plastic raw materials, and molding process training.Translate service files into local languages if necessary.RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you must have:Educational background: College degree or higher in mechanical manufacturing, electrical engineering, automation, or plastic materials.Work experience: At least 2 years in the injection molding machine industry or related fields, with a focus on service work or technical support.Skills and abilities:Excellent communication skills in English.Ability to drive a car.In-depth knowledge of troubleshooting and repairing injection molding machines, including controls, mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.Proficiency in using computers, email systems, basic Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Ability to understand mechanical drawings, electrical, and hydraulic schematics.
