Job Purpose
We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive HSE Manager to oversee health, safety, and environmental operations across multiple project sites in Mozambique.
This rotational role requires a dynamic leader capable of managing a team of HSE Officers and ensuring compliance with local and international HSE standards.

Job Description Lead and supervise a team of HSE Officers across multiple operational sites.
Forcasts, plans and schedules work of the HSE team on site in Pemba and Afungi
Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and programs.
Ensure compliance with Client, Company and Mozambican regulations and international HSE standards.
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Reviews and arranges for the provision of site safety equipment and training required
Drive continuous improvement in safety culture and performance.
Investigate incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions.
Provide HSE training and awareness programs for site personnel.
Liaise with local authorities, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
Implements and supervises the site drug and employment physical programs
Prepare and present HSE performance reports to senior management.
You are meant for this job if: Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
Minimum 8 years of HSE experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Experience working in remote or international locations, preferably in Africa.
Strong knowledge of international HSE standards (e.g., ISO 45001, ISO
Proven ability to manage teams and multiple site operations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Fluency in English required; Portuguese is a strong asset.
