Technical Architect RoleThe role of a Technical Architect involves leadership, facilitation, analysis, and design tasks required for the development of an enterprise's technical architecture.They create deliverables that help develop target-state guidance (standards, guidelines, reference implementations) for evolving the technical infrastructure across the enterprise, to enable business strategy and deliver targeted business outcomes.Leads efforts to develop and maintain the architectural assets for the technical domain.Setting architecture direction for the technical domain that is aligned with business and IT goals.Collaborates with service management teams and solution architects to lower the total cost of ownership for IT capabilities.Represents enterprise architecture by advocating and sharing knowledge.Participates as a member of one or more architectural review boards (ARB) ensuring quality and compliance in integration, application, technical, new technology innovation, and architecture work streams:Integration ArchitectureApplication ArchitectureTechnical ArchitectureNew Technology InnovationArchitecture WorkStandard Setting Responsibilities include creating technical standards within area(s) of responsibility, updating work products and communication when changes are required.
