Information Technology Manager

OverviewWe are looking for an experienced engineer to join the Cybersecurity/IT Engineering team as a full time Manager of IT.The ideal candidate is comfortable wearing many different hats including supporting end users, managing endpoints, automating identity and access management, and administering cloud-based IT systems and tools.A successful candidate will have demonstrated previous success in similar role(s) in rapidly growing, security-first environments.The right person is passionate about automation, scripting, and building infrastructure as code.You will be a participant in the design, implementation and management of our growing corporate cloud first infrastructure and networks.You will have a passion for innovation and creative problem solving, as well as be adaptable to the ever-changing landscape of the corporate infrastructure environment.This role will report to the Director of IT.ResponsibilitiesProvide customer-facing IT support; act as the first line of support via channels like Slack and Jira.Own the onboarding experience and tech provisioning for new employees; manage equipment procurement and tech retrieval for departing employees.Design, test, build, document programs and policies; contribute improvements to existing knowledge bases.Support and manage SaaS applications (Google Workspace, Slack, Jamf Pro, Jamf Protect, Jamf Connect, Okta, Jira, etc.).Manage Mac endpoints and mobile device management tools (MDM/EMM, Jamf, etc.).Improve identity and access management (IDP/SSO) with tools like GSuite and Okta; integrate APIs to connect systems.Provide remote support across multiple countries/time zones; handle shipping and customs for hardware.Communicate clearly, write effective tickets and documentation, and create helpful articles; automate repetitive tasks where possible.Lead and participate in projects over sprints with Agile methods; track work in Jira and align objectives with team and company goals.Manage critical incidents and issues to resolution; prioritise and balance workload across teams.What You Bring to Ledn7+ years in SaaS systems administration (Jamf Pro, Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, Jira, Netsuite).Ability to create automations using bash, zsh, Python, etc.; experience with open source tooling (Nudge, CIS Benchmark scripts, SplashBuddy, Munki, etc.).Experience integrating SSO (Okta) and building workflows; working with APIs to connect systems.Experience providing remote support across time zones; familiarity with hardware shipping/receiving and customs.Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex concepts clearly and empathetically.Strong understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing/switching) and OSI model troubleshooting; methodical problem solving.Self-management with ability to scope projects, prioritize tasks, and collaborate across multiple teams.Culture fit: leadership mindset, adaptability, resilience, and comfort in a remote/high-growth environment.Nice to HavesSome familiarity with AWS; GAM and command-line tooling experience.Jamf certifications, Okta certifications, Google Workspace certifications.What Ledn OffersCompetitive total rewards package and opportunities for growth.Competitive PTO; company ownership through equity.Remote work flexibility up to 180 days globally (subject to restrictions).A mission-driven environment with a focus on diversity, inclusion, and equal opportunity employment.Equal OpportunityLedn is an equal opportunity employer and prides itself on inclusivity and diversity.For accommodation requests during recruitment, please email the Ledn team.Requests will be handled confidentially.Working EnvironmentLedn is a global, remote-first company with employees across North America, Latin America, South Africa and Europe.Due to high application volume, qualified applicants will be contacted.Shortlisted candidates may be asked to submit a short video response and we may review publicly available social media activity relevant to the role.No agencies or recruiters.We do not accept unsolicited agency resumes.#J-*****-Ljbffr
