We are currently seeking a skilled SOC 2 Compliance Specialist to lead our client's SOC 2 compliance efforts.This role requires strong coding fundamentals, system design capability, and the mindset of a builder who thrives in a startup environment.The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the end-to-end process for achieving and maintaining SOC 2 compliance, utilizing Vanta's AI and automation tools to streamline compliance workflows, implementing and overseeing continuous monitoring processes, developing and updating security and compliance policies, assessing and monitoring third-party vendors, collaborating with external auditors to facilitate smooth and efficient SOC 2 audits, and integrating compliance requirements into SaaS product development and operations.Key Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end process for achieving and maintaining SOC 2 complianceUtilize Vanta's AI and automation tools to streamline compliance workflowsImplement and oversee continuous monitoring processesDevelop and update security and compliance policiesAssess and monitor third-party vendorsCollaborate with external auditors to facilitate smooth and efficient SOC 2 auditsIntegrate compliance requirements into SaaS product development and operationsRequired Skills and Qualifications:Excellent English communication skills3+ years of experience in compliance, information security, or risk managementHands-on experience with Vanta or similar compliance automation platformsProven track record of successfully managing SOC 2 audits and implementing controlsFamiliarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO *****, HIPAA, GDPR, or NIST CSFProficiency in using compliance automation platforms
