Olin Chlor Alkali Products and Vinyls, a division of Olin Corporation, is seeking a **Temporary Logistics Specialist**.
This position will be located at the **São Paulo, Brazil **office.
In your role as a Logistics/Quality Specialist you will develop and work with local carriers to ensure that customer orders in the region meet the requirements of the businesses in a safe, compliant, and cost-effective manner.
The Logistics Specialist job requires general logistic knowledge across modes of transportation and understanding of the business service requirements.
**Logistics Specialist Essential Functions**:
- Coordinate third party supplier activities to assure processes and TSS accomplishment
- Carriers operation management to facilitate samples and domestic orders delivery
- Leverage our local networks to provide consultancy on risk assessment, contingency plans, 3PL selection
- Support to EHS on auditing and training third party supplier, as well as auditing and approving Terminal
- Support to improvement and growth initiatives
- Participate and provide data in Business Monthly meeting (S&OPs)
- Define and track functional procedures and KPIs
- Manage investigation of Customers' complaint (QM) and respond to customer complaints in the local language
- Performs special release process in SAP/PRM (normal type of quality deviations), including providing the proper documents and communication for the commercial/ customer approval
- Provide blending calculations to mitigate quality problems for terminals
- Improve Terminal logistics and storage
**Logistics Specialist - Position Requirements**:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering or relevant degree.
- 3-5 years of Logistics experience
- Strong customer service mindset
- Familiar with management systems, quality tools, data analysis, and root cause analysis
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, problem solving, team facilitation, initiative and leadership skills
- Good verbal/writing English and local language of the operating country.
- Excellent computer skills (spreadsheets, databases, etc), including Microsoft Office, SAP.
