OverviewFounded by experienced entrepreneurs and engineers in 2016, Pismo is a technology company that provides a comprehensive processing platform for banking, card issuing and financial market infrastructure and helps customers innovate and build the next generation of banking and payment solutions.Pismo joined Visa in 2024.Leveraging Visa's solutions, our core platform, and an expanding suite of capabilities, Pismo addresses the technological challenges that large banks, marketplaces, and fintech companies face in migrating from legacy systems to more advanced technology in the market.Pismo's cloud-based platform empowers firms to build and launch financial products rapidly, scaling as they grow to have a broader audience while keeping high security and availability standards.Pismo's 500+ employees are located in more than 10 countries around the world.What you'll doHire, mentor, and grow engineers through regular 1:1s and continuous feedback, with a strong focus on high performance.Keep the team engaged, motivated, and consistently challenged to exceed expectations.Develop deep product knowledge and support your team in doing the same.Delegate responsibilities effectively to ensure ownership and accountability.Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve technical challenges.Analyze user needs and design technical solutions accordingly.Foster a healthy, inclusive team culture aligned with company values.Conduct risk assessments and proactively drive improvements.Provide technical guidance and support during complex challenges.Ensure adherence to development best practices: code quality, PR reviews, test coverage, performance, resilience, and security.Manage the on-call team, ensuring high-quality incident handling and excellent customer experience.Make assertive decisions under pressure and within tight constraints.Work directly with international teams and clients when needed.Monitor team services and newly released features in production, always aiming to meet or exceed SLOs/SLAs.This is a remote position.A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location.Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.QualificationsFor this role, you must be based in BrazilLanguage Skills: Upper Intermediate English Level (B2)Technical Skills: 3+ years managing high-performing engineering teamsSolid understanding of agile methodologiesHands-on experience with Java or GolangProficient with relational databasesFamiliarity with observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, or similarExperience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectureStrong grasp of SRE/DevOps conceptsPrevious experience building large-scale, high-throughput systemsDesirable QualificationsExperience in the card issuing industryKnowledge of ISO 8583 and authorization systemsAdditional InformationVisa is an EEO Employer.Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability or protected veteran status.Visa will also consider for employment qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with EEOC guidelines and applicable local law.#J-18808-Ljbffr
