The International School of Curitiba seeks a detail-oriented and proactive **Mid-Level Human Resources Analyst (Analista de Recursos Humanos Pleno)**to oversee and support personnel management and payroll administration processes.
This role is essential in ensuring compliance with labor laws, accurate payroll processing, and efficient support for employees across the institution.
**Your responsibilities include**:
- Responsible for working along with the 3rd party company on everything related to payroll, vacation, and all employee payments;
- Review payroll data and documents to ensure consistency and identify potential errors, check the accuracy, analyzing month to month variances in payment amounts, and ensure payments are made on time;
- Work closely with the Data Protection Officer on GDPR (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados);
- Responsible for the HR administrative routines such as hiring, dismissal, benefits and compensation administration, vacation periods, CIPA, and others;
- Provide guidance to employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures;
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner;
- Keep track of employees' files with accurate documentation needed such as personal documents, diplomas, and certificates;
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, tax regulations, and school policies;
- Responsible for Union Relations;
- Responsible for arranging and scheduling all medical exams (admissions, dismissal, and periodic) with our Occupational Health company, including arranging in-company exams;
- Responsible for posting invoices on the system and managing payment dates with the Finance Department;
- Responsible for absence requests such as all requirements of leave of absence, as well as gathering medical notes and keeping them up to date;
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive and professional working environment;
- Conduct and prepare necessary instruments in internal and external audits and other matters in the area;
- Support in maintaining knowledge of federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions;
- Provide guidance to all employees on relations issues, and interpretation of company policies, procedures, and guidelines;
- Responsible for the labor lawsuits tracking with the labor lawyer, representing ISC in labor hearings;
- Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
**Required profile**:
- BA degree in Human Resources, Business, or Accounting.
- Technical English/Conversational English.
- Solid experience managing payroll and personnel department operations.
- Proficient with the RM Tots system is a plus.
- Be adaptable to a wide range of situations, and work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Must demonstrate the highest standard in handling confidential and sensitive information.
- Must be flexible and able to assess and change priorities, and have the ability to effectively problem solve.
- Must interact respectfully with others and work successfully in a team environment.
