Saas Compliance Specialist

Compliance ManagerWe are seeking a Compliance Manager to lead our efforts in ensuring the security and compliance of our SaaS environment.The ideal candidate will have expertise in SOC 2 compliance, proficiency in using compliance automation platforms, and experience managing end-to-end compliance processes.This role requires strong project management skills, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.You will be responsible for scoping, evidence collection, control implementation, and audit preparation, as well as leveraging compliance automation tools to streamline workflows and monitor controls.The successful candidate will also develop, update, and maintain security and compliance policies, procedures, and documentation, utilizing centralized platforms to manage vendor risk assessments and ensure continuous monitoring processes.About the RoleLead End-to-End Compliance Processes: Manage the entire process of achieving and maintaining SOC 2 compliance, including scoping, evidence collection, control implementation, and audit preparationUtilize Compliance Automation Tools: Leverage compliance automation platforms to streamline compliance workflows, monitor controls, and manage vendor risk assessmentsDevelop Security Policies: Develop, update, and maintain security and compliance policies, procedures, and documentation within centralized platformsManage Vendor Risk: Utilize vendor risk management solutions to assess and monitor third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with security standardsCollaborate with Teams: Work closely with engineering, IT, and product teams to integrate compliance requirements into SaaS product development and operationsCommunicate Effectively: Communicate compliance metrics, generate reports, and communicate the company's security posture to internal stakeholders and external clientsRequirementsExcellent Communication Skills: Excellent English communication skillsCompliance Experience: 3+ years of experience in compliance, information security, or risk management, with a focus on SOC 2 compliance in a SaaS environmentAutomation Platform Experience: Hands-on experience with Vanta or similar compliance automation platformsProject Management Skills: Proven track record of successfully managing complex compliance initiativesSecurity Knowledge: Strong understanding of SaaS architecture, cloud security, and data privacy principlesFrameworks Familiarity: Familiarity with compliance frameworks, such as SOC 2, ISO *****, HIPAA, GDPR, or NIST CSFVendor Risk Management: Proficiency in using compliance automation platforms for vendor risk management
