We are seeking an experienced software engineer to support and develop new tools and processes for a private cloud application.Your role will involve communicating technical concepts clearly, facilitating discussions, collaborating with stakeholders, providing project updates, and mentoring team members.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop high-performance cloud and container technologies using Python as the main programming language.Deliver high-quality solutions and code.Develop unit tests to improve the software development life cycle.Investigate and resolve issues reported during testing and customer integration.Participate in all aspects of an agile software development process.Contribute to a highly available orchestration platform for deploying a private cloud platform, aimed at 5G and distributed Edge deployments worldwide.Necessary SkillsBackend development experience (preferably in Python) with knowledge of Linux essentials.Understanding of hardware, processes, programs, and Linux Operating System components.Experience working on the command line and with files.Creating and restoring compressed backups and archives.System security: users/groups and file permissions for public and private directories.Creating and running simple scripts.Strong computer networking knowledge and transport layers.Knowledge of cloud computing concepts.Collaboration across remote teams and time zones, and with Senior Technical Leaders.Experience with GIT, Jira, Gitlab, and code review tools.Container technology experience (e.g., Docker, Linux Containers).Kubernetes Cluster Administration experience.Docker and Helm experience.Desirable SkillsKubernetes App Development experience.PostgreSQL and RabbitMQ developer experience.Encora is a digital engineering and modernization partner of leading enterprises and digital native companies.We hire professionals based on skills and qualifications without discrimination.
