OverviewA healthcare client is looking for data engineers to join their growing team.
The team is modernizing on-prem SQL warehouses to Snowflake and building data marts on top of the Snowflake enterprise warehouse.
You will support lifting and shifting existing data marts, building new data marts, and further integrations.
The data engineering team designs, tests, deploys and maintains data pipelines and establishes a strong data reporting environment.
This role operates within an AWS environment; cloud integration experience is helpful.ResponsibilitiesSupport the modernización of on-prem SQL warehouses to Snowflake, including lifting and shifting existing data marts.Build net new data marts on top of Snowflake.Design, test, deploy and maintain data pipelines.Establish and maintain a strong data reporting environment.Collaborate with DevOps and other teams to integrate workflows in AWS.Qualifications4+ years of data engineering experience — building data warehouses and ETL pipelines3+ years of experience with Snowflake DatawarehouseWell versed with data martsStrong understanding of SQL including: SSIS, SSAS, and SSRSAbility to work MST hoursNice to Have Skills & ExperienceExperience working within the healthcare industry, provider side highly preferredExperience working in an AWS environmentExperience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, KafkaJob detailsSeniority level: AssociateEmployment type: ContractJob function: Information TechnologyIndustries: Hospitals and Health Care
