The Equipment Consulting Services Department provides Saudi Aramco and Joint Ventures with effective specialized engineering consultations and introduces viable technologies and maintains quality standards.
As an Offshore & Onshore Geotechnical your primary role is to provide technical support to the company's operations and support new projects development and evaluation.Duties and Responsibilities:As a successful candidate you will be required to perform the following:Conduct analysis and design of offshore/onshore geotechnical structures using geotechnical analysis software such as Plaxis, Slope W, APILE.Perform design review of engineering packages prepared by others in support of ongoing Capital and Maintain Potential projectsDevelop and interpret code and standard requirements for offshore/onshore geotechnical designsAssess and carry out geotechnical analysis, including offshore and onshore structuresParticipate in Engineering Standard development and reviewsConduct vendor technical assessments for geotechnical commoditiesConduct geotechnical inspections and assessments of existing structuresSupport ongoing Innovation/Technology programs and strategic initiativesAssess new and emerging technologies for civil/geotechnical applicationsAct as a professional mentor to developing geotechnical engineers and specialistsAs the successful candidate you will have:Candidate must have a Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering.Candidate must have a Master's Degree in Civil/Geotechnical EngineeringPhD's Degree is a plus.Professional Engineering or Chartered Engineering CertificationMinimum of 20 years of professional engineering design experienceFamiliarity with geotechnical design standardsFlexibility to travel both domestically and internationallyApplications MUST be submitted in EnglishAdvanced English communication skills - verbal and writtenMust be willing to relocate to Saudi Arabia on a full time, permanent basisWorking environmentOur high-performing employees are drawn by the challenging and rewarding professional, technical and industrial opportunities we offer, and are remunerated accordingly.
