Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:The Manager, Transportation Control & Billing is a key in-house for manage budget and transportation spend and be a decision-making support role for an organized, passionate, and analytical finance leader who understands the challenges and the opportunities of BR wide supply chain and transportation network, and who is capable of end-to-end owning, managing, gathering, collecting, and analysing a complex set of financial data; and convert and present them into management relevant decks and decision support materials.The successful candidate will be expected to turn data into information, information into insight, and insights to into business decisions.The Manager, Transportation control & Billing Will track and own the correct execution of transportation budget.Key Responsibilities:· Budget execution and control.· Accountable for invoicing process controls and system issue resolution.· Freight services and payments conciliation· Develop, manage, and update regional transportation decks and scorecards• Drive data-driven decision making in whole BR network deliveries• Analyse and pinpoint top improvement areas within Supply Chain• Own the financial performance reporting of the department.• Analyse and report full visibility for Net Sales monthly Recognition share.• Carry out ad hoc analysis to drive agile decision making• Support ongoing and designed projects with data, by building and justifying business cases• Build automized reports (Excel, Data warehouse, or web based) for team use• Drive and own data reliability and richness on company-wide used data tools• Work with the technical teams to enhance the transportation reporting capabilities• Improve the understanding, awareness and proper use of available data within the organizationKey Relationships:• Freight Transportation management• Initiate and drive data driven discussions with cross-functional internal stakeholders, as well as external partners• Couple the data with qualitative input, issues, feedback, and insights to prepare, plan, align and deliver solutions• Identify, analyze and interpret trends, patterns and outliers in complex data sets• Work with senior management to prioritize business and information needs• Proactively manage stakeholders, identify needs and manage communicationKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:• Thinks Big and has bias for action.Expected to be creative, to plan, shine and deliver.• End-to-end mindset with a holistic view of problems and opportunities on hand• Business acumen, to be able to grasp and help drive relevant decision making• Has backbone, develops and constructively communicates his opinion, not scared to disagree, and yet commit.• Seeks the best for the business always in mind• Transparently presents the story the data indicates, do not manipulate the data to prove the story• Solution builder with a creative mind and solid experience in delivering result-oriented analysis• Highly self-motivated, and acts like an 'owner'• Earns trust, both of his/her team and internal/external stakeholders.Does what he/she says in due time, and dares to say 'No' when required so.• Engaging, open and perceptive to feedback and improvement• Autonomous and capable of handling all-way communication (upward, lateral and downward)• Solid presentation, deck building and storytelling skills• Discipline in planning, time management and organization skills• Can learn the technical grounds and talk to non-technical people in a common languageHard skills:• SAP FICO intermedium – advanced preferred• Advanced MS Office skills, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint• Technical expertise regarding data models, data mining, segmentation and presentation techniques• Strong knowledge and expertise with reporting packages (Business Objects for instance), databases (SQL), PowerBI, Microstrategy, VBA and Tableau.• Number savvy with strong analytical skills• Adept at queries, MS Excel based analysis, report writing and presenting the findings• Having worked in an e-com environment is considered an advantage• Understanding of a complex transportation / supply chain network• Working experience with a Transportation Management and Optimization system is a plus• Can locate and define new process improvement processes• Dives deep with proven data analytics skills, and willing to 'get his/her hands dirty'• Frugal.Does not compensate speed or quality over each other.• Has experience in building and evaluating Business Cases with scenario planning• Financial literacy is a plusPeople management skills:• Fosters a team culture that encourages trust, open and constructive discussion• Insists on the Highest Standards.Setting high expectations on him/herself and the partnering teams• Good at prioritization, effort estimation, assignment and hand over• Curious, open to learn & develop.Leverages, and shares his/her expertiseRequisite Education and Qualifications:• A Bachelor's degree from relevant departments of universities required.• Demonstrated data analytics skills with various tools• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in an advanced analytics environment – preferably with a supply chain and/or transportation management background (relevant consultancy included)
