The current team includes skilled full-stack developers but lacks dedicated mobile expertise, which has resulted in technical challenges and delivery delays.
Your primary responsibility will be to bring mobile-specific best practices, improve code quality, reduce technical debt, and guide the team toward a stable, high-quality release before the end of the year.
Your impact will be critical to the project\'s success and may lead to an extended engagement based on performance and outcomes.From August to mid-October/2025.ResponsibilitiesSpearhead the development of a new mobile app using Expo (React Native) and Nest.js, ensuring feature parity with the legacy system while resolving technical debt.Optimize integrations with Azure (Container Apps, Blob Storage, Redis, Key Vault, Virtual Networks), leading production deployments.Troubleshoot critical compatibility issues and performance bottlenecks, implementing mobile-first solutions.Guide the team on monorepo management (Nx) and modern UI development (Tamagui or similar).
