Senior Database Reliability Engineer (DBRE / DBA with DevOps Growth Path)Published on OCTOBER 28, ****Applications open until JANUARY 31, ****Workplace: Natal - RNJob Type: Legal personWork model: HybridAlso for PwDAbout the RoleWe are seeking aSenior Database Reliability Engineer (DBRE / DBA)with deep expertise inMariaDB/MySQLand a solid understanding ofPostgreSQL.Your mission will be to ensure our databases are reliable, performant, and resilient — especially when it comes toreplication troubleshootingand tackling complex performance challenges.In addition to being ourdatabase specialist, you'll have the opportunity togrow into a DevOps role.If you don't yet have strong DevOps experience, that's perfectly fine — we'll provide hands-on training, mentoring, and support.Over time, you'll contribute to infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and cloud operations alongside our DevOps engineers.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and resolve complex database issues, includingreplication failuresand performance bottlenecks.Optimize queries, indexes, and schema designs for reliability and scalability.Ensure robustbackup, recovery, and securitystrategies are in place.Collaborate with developers to improve database usage patterns and performance.Manage and monitor databases incloud environments(Azure, AWS).Gradually take onDevOps responsibilities, including:Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible)CI/CD pipelines and automationCloud resource provisioning and maintenanceRequirementsSenior-level expertise withMariaDB/MySQL(administration, performance tuning, replication).Experience troubleshootingreplication, diagnosing query performance, and optimizing configurations.Solid understanding ofdatabase design, indexing, and scaling strategies.Hands-on experience managingproduction environmentswith high reliability requirements.Familiarity withAzureand/orAWS.English levelB1 or higher(comfortable collaborating in an international team).Nice to HaveWorking knowledge ofPostgreSQL(operations, tuning, replication).Experience withInfrastructure as Codetools (Terraform, Ansible).Scripting ability (Bash, Python).PreviousDevOpsorSREexperience.What We OfferBecome thego-to database expertin our team.A cleargrowth path into DevOps, with dedicated mentoring and training.A dynamic role where you may spend50% or more of your time in DevOpsas you grow.International environment with modern tooling and automation practices.Competitive compensation and flexibility.Process StagesStep 1: RegistrationStep 5: Fit CulturalStep 6: Hiring#J-*****-Ljbffr
