Job DescriptionWe're seeking an expert to design and build intelligent systems that streamline our staffing workflows.The successful candidate will turn unstructured data into actionable intelligence using retrieval-augmented generation, document intelligence, and structured extraction.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop AI pipelines for document processing, including OCR, classification, extraction, validation, and posting.Create compliance automation solutions for primary-source license checks, date/format rules, name/DOB matching, immunization logic, and timesheet math.Develop workflow integrations with enterprise systems, including ATS, compliance platforms, job boards, CRM/marketing systems, and task management tools.Implement text message (SMS) automation, including AI-assisted campaigns and cadences triggered from ATS/CRM events; personalize copy, schedule sends, ingest replies/MMS docs, and auto-log to the system of record.Integrate VoIP/SMS with ATS/compliance to auto-log activity, attach files, and trigger workflows.Automate customer support and knowledge base workflows using Zendesk and a knowledge base.Implement marketing and CMS automation using Jasper AI and content workflows in HubSpot CMS, Webflow, or WordPress.Develop pay package automation, including bill rates, stipends, and guaranteed hours to weekly packages with audit trails.Integrate finance, accounting, and payroll automation with QuickBooks Online or Xero and payroll tools to generate invoices from approved time, bill rates, and contract terms; handle credits/adjustments.Automate payroll prep from timesheets and pay packages; route exceptions to HITL queues with full auditability.RequirementsStrong software engineering skills in Python and/or C#.Hands-on experience with LLM/RAG, including embeddings, retrieval, prompt design, and evaluation.Document ingestion at scale, including PDF, HTML, images, schema'd extraction, and validation.Secure and auditable data design, including HIPAA/PII, APIs/webhooks, and event-driven workflows.Experience integrating enterprise systems, including ATS, compliance platforms, job boards, CRM/marketing systems, and task management tools.Experience with MLOps fundamentals, including data/model versioning, CI/CD, monitoring, and rollback.BenefitsFounding scope and ownership: Build the AI function – architecture, standards, roadmap.Executive air cover: Direct line to the Head of Engineering; CEO-level sponsorship to ship.Modern, open stack: Integrations across ATS, compliance, job boards, CRM/marketing, VoIP/SMS, CMS, accounting/payroll, and reporting.Remote-first, pragmatic culture: Production over prototypes, HIPAA/PII first, human-in-the-loop where it matters.
