Cloud Infrastructure Engineer OpportunityWe are seeking a Principal Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our high-performing engineering team.This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who can contribute to solving complex challenges, driving technical excellence, and enhancing our cloud infrastructure.You'll join a collaborative and agile team responsible for designing scalable solutions and ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our platform.Responsibilities:Design and build highly available and scalable cloud systems and APIs.Lead and own cloud infrastructure initiatives, including CI/CD pipeline management and container orchestration.Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure as code using Terraform, ensuring secure, reproducible, and automated deployments.Work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver new features and improve existing systems.Ensure disaster recovery readiness and compliance with security best practices.Manage and optimize AWS services (S3, RDS, EventBridge, SQS, IAM, VPC, ECR, etc.).Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters and Docker images in production environments.Troubleshoot complex issues across distributed systems and drive root cause analysis.Required Qualifications:8+ years of professional experience in functional programming, with Node.js / JavaScript.Proven experience with DevOps practices and cloud-native environments.Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.Expertise with AWS (S3, RDS, EventBridge, SQS, DMS, Security Groups, IAM, VPCs, ECR).Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Aurora, RDS).Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.Familiarity with Terraform (infrastructure as code).Solid understanding of application security and use of security tools.Strong debugging, issue resolution, and troubleshooting skills.Benefits:This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of critical infrastructure operations, design scalable solutions, and continuously evolve our platform's reliability, performance, and security.
