As an Outbound Operations Manager, you'll make sure your area is running as smoothly as it should so that we can meet its goals.
You will be leading a team that helps keep our operations safe, efficient, and of a high quality and taking on a number of projects across our network to drive productivity.ResponsibilitiesCreate, oversee, and drive a culture of safety and wellbeingAnalyze and implement changes to keep quality and productivity at a consistently high levelOversee projects to streamline processes, optimize productivity and increase quality of service for customers within your area of responsibilityAnalyze performance against relevant business objectives, and put in place actions to improve our operational excellenceA day in the lifeManage Outbound operations, including picking, sort, packing and dock processesLead and develop a large team of area managers, operations leads and associates (100+ employees) across multiple shiftsDrive operational excellence through KPI management and continuous improvement initiativesEnsure adherence to safety standards and quality control measuresOptimize resource allocation and labor planningMeet productivity targets while maintaining quality and safety standardsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and resolve issuesBachelor\'s degree or equivalentWork a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidaysAdvanced English SkillsData-driven decision making skillsEmployee and performance management experiencePerformance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experienceOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
