This role ensures the area runs smoothly to meet goals, leads a team to keep operations safe, efficient, and of high quality, and drives productivity through multiple projects across the network.ResponsibilitiesManage outbound operations, including picking, sort, packing, and dock processesLead and develop a large team of area managers, operations leads, and associates (100+ employees) across multiple shiftsDrive operational excellence through KPI management and continuous improvement initiativesEnsure adherence to safety standards and quality control measuresOptimize resource allocation and labor planningMeet productivity targets while maintaining quality and safety standardsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and resolve issuesBasic QualificationsBachelor\'s degree or equivalentWork a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidaysAdvanced English skillsData-driven decision making skillsEmployee and performance management experiencePreferred QualificationsPerformance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experienceOur inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
