Job Title: Senior Business Development StrategistWe are seeking a seasoned business development professional to spearhead our strategic partnerships and drive growth through M&A opportunities.This role involves developing and managing an M&A pipeline, creating market maps, and building strong relationships in assigned software industry verticals.Main Responsibilities:Meet and exceed monthly M&A targets, including meaningful contacts and measurable KPIs.Work autonomously with M&A leadership to qualify opportunities efficiently.Ensure accurate lead database allocation within portfolio verticals.Effectively qualify opportunities at the top-end of the acquisition funnel to maintain focus for Portfolio Managers.Required Skills and Qualifications:At least 3+ years of experience in business development/sales or client-facing M&A/finance roles.Clear interest in developing long-term pipelines of meaningful relationships as a career trajectory.Advanced verbal and written communication skills with confidence and executive presence to engage with CEOs, M&A advisors, corporate development, private equity, and venture capital professionals.Benefits:Opportunity to work remotely with occasional in-person travel to various locations.About Perseus:Perseus is an operating group of Constellation Software Inc., a Canadian-based publicly held company with over 6,000 employees, operating in 12+ software industry verticals, and located in over 40 offices.
