Associate IT Auditor
We are recruiting an Associate IT Auditor to join our global Internal Audit based in Irving, TX.
Looking for a highly analytical, effective communicator to join K-C's Internal Audit function.
Using a risk-based approach; a portion of our work evaluates the system of internal controls over financial reporting as required by the Sarbanes-Oxley law.
In addition, we also review other key internal controls and work on special projects as appropriate.
This experience will help prepare you for future roles in K-C, with the first rotation out of Internal Audit typically occurring after approximately two years.
**Job Requirements**:
- Complete a risk assessment for assigned engagements in compliance with department policies to determine the processes that represent the most significant risks to the Corporation.
- Perform appropriate tests of controls in compliance with department policies to provide objective evaluations of K-C' internal control system.
- Prepare audit reports that describe the nature of the audit tests performed and any documented exceptions to corporate policy.
- Identify opportunities to improve Internal Audit effectiveness and efficiency.
- Identifies opportunities to implement continuous monitoring of IT controls
- Identify opportunities to partner with audit teams and utilize automation to improve audit coverage and execution.
- Maintain a working knowledge of information security assessment industry standards/best practices and compliance with information security-related laws and regulations (e.g., SEC, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and other state/regulatory data privacy laws).
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Bachelor degree in Information Technology (Accounting or other related fields considered).
- Minimum of 2 years experience in Audit or Information Security and/or other relevant experience.
- Willingness to travel approximately 20%, both domestic and international.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Advanced English.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Data Analytic and scripting capabilities (e.g. Excel, ACL, PowerBI, Python, R, PowerShell).
- Professional certification (CIA, CISA, CPA) or working towards certification.
- Manufacturing and/or consumer products industry experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of SAP and Audit Management Software.
- Cyber Security or Data Privacy & Protection experience.
- Language skills (Spanish, Mandarin, Korean).
