Job OverviewWe are seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Senior DevOps Engineer.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with expertise in implementing and supporting customer care and enterprise solutions.The successful candidate will be responsible for building tools and infrastructure improvements that enable quick, easy, safe delivery and operation of microservices, web applications, and backend processes.ResponsibilitiesDeployment and Integration: Deploy legacy monolith applications and microservices using modern distributed system technologies on-premise and in the cloud.Pipeline Automation: Automate the entire delivery pipeline, including release of assets, configuration changes, environment provisioning, and production health monitoring/alerting.Tool Evaluation and Implementation: Evaluate and implement tools/frameworks/services for configuration management and CI/CD.Platform Development: Develop scalable platform infrastructure and tooling to support our platforms.Security Maintenance: Maintain and implement necessary security processes for code, platform, and tools.Process Automation: Automate common operational processes that need to happen regularly.To succeed in this role, you will require professional systems engineering and development experience with fluency in:Orchestrating microservices, scaling, resiliency, and performance.Networking background with understanding of firewalls, load balancing, routing, etc.Linux Systems Administration.CI/CD Platforms (Azure DevOps, GitHub Enterprise, Atlassian Bamboo).
Automation via scripting languages like Bash, Python, Powershell, etc.Experience working in cloud environments.Monitoring and Logging (Splunk, New Relic, etc.).
Desirable SkillsDocker and cloud PaaS offerings.Cloud architecture and operations.Network security.Windows Systems Administration.Static and dynamic code analysis implementation.
