OverviewJoin to apply for the Water/Wastewater Designer/EIT role at HDR.HDR is committed to an inclusive, employee-owned culture where people bring their authentic selves and innovative ideas to work.We believe every role can make a difference in changing the world for the better.HDR is currently in need of a Water/Wastewater Designer to work as a member of the Water Business Group.The successful candidate will work as a team member for studies and/or detailed design and construction services for water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and collection/distribution systems.ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed designs of water/wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and collection/distribution systems.Prepare drawings to write specifications, analysis, and study-level reports for water and wastewater systems; determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection, and cost estimation.Assist the project manager throughout the design and construction phases of projects.Perform other duties as needed.QualificationsPreferred QualificationsM.S.in Civil or Environmental EngineeringEIT or ability to obtain within 12 months.Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Water/Wastewater Designer" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progressionExperience in evaluating, designing, and/or developing drawings and specifications for water/wastewater treatment facilities and pump station projectsExperience with Microsoft Project or Primavera project management softwareRevit, MicroStation and/or AutoCAD experiencePreference is given to local candidatesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent fieldInterest or experience designing water/wastewater treatment facilitiesAutoCAD and/or MicroStation experienceMicrosoft Office experienceMust be able to work in a team environmentAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.Together, we build on each other's life experiences and perspectives to make great things possible every day, shaping our collaborative culture and connecting us closer to clients and communities we serve.Our CommitmentAs employee owners, we all have a role in creating an inclusive environment where each of us is welcomed, valued, respected and empowered to bring our authentic selves to work every day.Our eight Employee Network Groups help create a sense of belonging and foster a supportive environment where everyone is empowered to engage and contribute.LocationPrimary Location: United States - Pennsylvania - PhiladelphiaOther LocationsUnited States - Pennsylvania - Bethlehem, Plymouth MeetingIndustryWasteScheduleFull-timeEmployee StatusRegularJob PostingAug 11, ****HDR is an equal opportunity employer.We consider all qualified applicants, regardless of criminal histories, arrest and conviction records.#J-*****-Ljbffr
