We are seeking a Crypto Market Maker to manage our proprietary trading strategies on both Centralized (CEX) and Decentralized (DEX) exchanges. Your mission is not to predict the future price of Bitcoin. Your mission is to ensure that our order books are deep, our spreads are tight, and our inventory is balanced. You are the architect of market efficiency.
The Scope of ExecutionYour primary mandate is the management of our automated trading systems. You will oversee a portfolio of market-making algorithms that quote bid and ask orders 24 hours a day. You must constantly adjust the parameters of these bots based on market volatility. When the market is calm, you capture the spread.
When the market crashes, you manage the risk to ensure we do not end up holding "toxic flow." You are responsible for the daily Profit and Loss (Pn L) of your assigned pairs. Operational Responsibility and ToolingThis role requires a hybrid of trading intuition and engineering skill. You will spend your day in Python. You will write scripts to analyze trade history and optimize our quoting logic.
You will connect to Exchange APIs via Web Socket to monitor latency and order rejection rates. You will work closely with our quant developers to improve our execution infrastructure, but you must be capable of fixing a broken script yourself in the middle of the night if necessary. Negative ScopeTo ensure we are aligned, please note the following:Not a Discretionary Trader: You will not be manually buying or selling assets based on technical analysis patterns or news sentiment. You manage systems, not individual trades.
Not a Blockchain Developer: You do not need to write Smart Contracts in Solidity. You need to understand market microstructure and exchange connectivity. Not an Entry-Level Role: We cannot train you on the basics of an Order Book or how an AMM works. You must arrive with this knowledge fully formed.
The Trader Archetype We are looking for a candidate with a background in Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science. You have professional experience in high-frequency trading (HFT) or electronic market making, either in crypto or traditional finance (B3/BM& F). You are comfortable handling large notional values and stay calm when volatility spikes. You understand that in market making, risk management is more important than profit maximization.
