We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our Cloudflare team.As a member of our Billing Engineering group, you will play a critical role in powering internal and external billing services.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain microservices using Golang to power Cloudflare's billing systems.Develop RESTful APIs that interface with financial and operational systems.Collaborate with event-driven systems and streaming architectures using Kafka.Manage containerized deployments using Kubernetes and Docker.As a key contributor to our team, you will work closely with internal stakeholders to deliver new features and maintain operational excellence.You will also participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning sessions.RequirementsProficiency in Golang programming language.Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and DevOps practices.Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.You will have the opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of system reliability, scalability, and security.If you are passionate about building scalable and efficient systems, we encourage you to apply for this position.
