Volume Planning Manager, AMZL Capacity PlanningAmazon Logistics (AMZL) Brazil is looking for an experienced professional to own Amazon ´s last mile volume planning.The Volume Planning Manager is directly responsible for generating AMZL ´s overall volume plans at a national level, working with critical stakeholders to define mid/long term volume plans.The role encompasses planning across all delivery channels and node types (DSP, EDSP, Hub, Flex).The manager is responsible for managing AMZL's volume plans which will be later consumed by OTR and UTR planning analysts.They work with multiple inputs of information (such as upstream forecasts, mechanical capacity inputs per Cycle) to generate volume plans for the short, medium and long terms (W+2, W+12, Guidances and yearly planning cycles respectively).The focus is on improving forecast accuracy and variability, ensuring upstream forecasts are calibrated according to network changes and daily volume behavior at each node.They ensure proper volume plan communication to all teams that consume forecasts for planning purposes (DSP, EDSP, Hub, Flex, Finance, PXT) and own dive deeps on critical planning assumptions such as Cycle Share for DSs, Child/Parent network and delivery channel mix in shared jurisdictions (Hub x DSP x Flex).To be successful, you must be able to work across disciplines, organizations, and geographies, translating complex technical and operational concepts for varied audiences.You must think big, move fast, and pivot frequently in a dynamic environment.Prior experience in demand planning and hands-on experience in such activities are a must.Key job responsibilitiesWork with Transports Planning and Supply Chain teams to capture and align on demand signals, understanding and sanity checking assumptions;Calculate expected volume per delivery node, cycle and program, based on existing methodologies and systems;Align with multiple stakeholders on key planning assumptions such as shares per cycle, share per delivery program, coverage per node, and drive optimal volume allocation between nodes;Publish volume plans to key internal stakeholders, capture resource commitments from such teams to evaluate potential capacity gaps, and follow up on solve plans for such gaps;Lead calls and coordinate action items and follow up on critical topics related to balancing capacity and demand in the last mile space;Work on and deploy process and systems improvements in the last mile planning scope, benchmarking on state-of-the-art processes, and working with product and internal teams to deploy such improvements;Communicate and align on network changes that affect the last mile network with transportation and supply chain teams.About the teamAmazon Logistics (AMZL) is Amazon's "Last Mile" delivery service, responsible for delivering packages to homes and businesses across the planet.The Planning team is responsible for planning critical business aspects of the operations such as geographical coverage, volume/capacity planning and weekly execution of the plans.We are focused on planning Amazon's last mile network to reach the best balance between capacity availability, productivity and accuracy.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field;Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership;Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups);Experience in capacity planning, operations planning, business analysis or similar;Fluent in English (spoken, written, read) and ability to take direction in English;Experience working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of SQL.Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.If you have a disability and need a workplace accommodation or adjustment during the application and hiring process, including support for the interview or onboarding process, please visit for more information.If the country/region you're applying in isn't listed, please contact your Recruiting Partner.Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.#J-*****-Ljbffr
