Delivering Robust Solutions">As a Senior Ruby on Rails Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and robust solutions that effectively solve business problems. You will leverage your deep experience in Ruby on Rails to ensure scalable architecture and web application development that supports continued growth.The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in software development, with 3+ years of hands-on experience with Ruby and Rails (full stack). Strong expertise with Postgres and Redis is also required.Responsibilities include writing clean, well-structured code, adapting quickly to new projects, and seeking to understand the "why" behind requirements and solutions.
The candidate should also be able to know when to use off-the-shelf technology vs. building custom solutions, demonstrate ownership, accountability, and a strong initiative-driven approach.Bonus points are given for experience building applications with StimulusReflex and Hotwire, comfort with front-end development using JavaScript, Stimulus, View Components, and SCSS, and prior experience working on internationally distributed teams.Key Skills:Deep experience in Ruby and RailsStrong expertise with Postgres and RedisExcellent communication skillsExperience with Agile development practicesRequirements:5+ years of experience in software development3+ years of hands-on experience with Ruby and RailsPostgres and Redis expertise
