This is acontract full-time remoteopportunity for those based inBrazil.About Nearform**Nearform is an independent team of engineers, designers, data experts and strategists who build intelligent digital solutions and capability at pace.We create software solutions that enhance digital experiences, empower developers, and deliver measurable results.In these ways, we partner with ambitious enterprises to deliver enduring impact.Our deep expertise in solving the world's most complex digital problems, along with our collaborative, people-first approach, enables enterprises to build breakthrough products and modernise legacy systems, with confidence.Today, our team of 500 experts in 20+ countries is trusted by leading enterprises including Lululemon, Puma, Sun Life, Starbucks, Travelex, Virgin Media 02, and Walmart.As part of our Engineering function, you will work closely with clients to translate complex business requirements into innovative digital products.Whether you are a Senior Engineer, Tech Lead, or DevOps Engineer, you will collaborate with distributed teams, leveraging cutting-edge technologies to build secure, high-performance applications.Our Nearform engineers are known for building high quality, scalable solutions that solve real world problems.About The JavaScript Engineer RoleThis is a JavaScript Engineer role, where you'll work across a variety of client projects simultaneously.On a day-to-day basis, you'll be supporting bug fixes, maintaining applications, and implementing enhancements.This role offers broad visibility into different projects and technologies, so strong organisational skills and the ability to switch contexts effectively are essential.You will be working with leaders from Nearform and may also have some direct interaction with clients, making clear communication and collaboration key to success.As an Engineer at Nearform, your main task will be designing & building applications using JavaScript.However, as you'll likely work on a variety of projects, your responsibilities may also include:Supporting component design, development and maintenance and taking responsibility for personal technical quality standardsAssisting with defining structured practices, especially in source code management, building and deployment.Designing and implementing data storage solutions.Assisting with the analysis of client requirements.Working with leaders to guarantee high quality and timely delivery of tasks.Providing support across multiple projects simultaneously, including bug fixing, maintenance, and small enhancements.Switching contexts effectively between tasks and projects, staying organised and managing timelines.Gaining visibility across a range of client projects and occasionally engaging with internal and external team members to clarify needs or provide updates.What We Are Looking For In This PersonSignificant experience delivering at a Mid/ Senior Engineer level.We are looking for someone with at least 4 years of commercial experiencePractical experience of delivering in an agile environment.Practical experience and knowledge of developing real-world solutions.Deep knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript language and frameworks, must include and React.Experience with React Native is a strong bonus.Deep understanding of versioning control tools -
