Job Title: SAP Basis ConsultantOur company seeks a highly skilled and experienced SAP Basis Consultant to join our team.
As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our SAP systems.Key Responsibilities:Ensure Service Level Agreement (SLA) adherence, process compliance, and ITIL awareness.Mentor and train team members in SAP system administration and troubleshooting techniques.Handle technical tickets, perform root cause analysis, and troubleshoot complex issues.Lead installation, configuration, migration, and upgrade activities for SAP systems.Define and enforce operational processes to maximize system uptime.Required Skills and Qualifications:Technical Expertise:SAP server installation and configuration, including ABAP and Java stacks.High Availability setup using Unix and Windows platforms.SAP BASIS server administration, including root cause analysis and escalation of complex issues.Kickstart environment setup and maintenance.End-to-end SAP lifecycle implementations for global clients.SAP version EHP upgrades.Performance tuning and capacity planning, including troubleshooting applications, databases, and operating systems.Soft Skills:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong documentation and MS Office skills, including Visio.Customer-centric mindset with high adaptability.Additional Experience:Production systems data center operations.Server migration, patching, and upgrade experience.Certifications Preferred:SAP BASIS NetWeaver Solution Manager OS/DB Migration
