Recruiting process will be in EnglishThe Team:The S&P Global Commercial Team LatAm is responsible for optimizing relationships and commercial outcomes with a broad set of clients in the region.
We are a close-knit team and collaborate continually to brainstorm solutions that help our clients overcome their complex business challenges.
The team is competitive, sales focused, energetic, and intellectually curious.Objective:Seeking a proven and experienced Sales Executive to build a book of business and expand existing relationships in Brazil across all industries funding domestically or globally from the capital markets.
In addition, the executive will manage and develop relationships with existing issuers, bankers, project sponsors and other intermediaries.Responsibilities:Create a sales strategy to broaden S&P's portfolio across BrazilIdentify upsell opportunities through insight-based sales strategies for complex clientsManage all commercial aspects of S&P relationships with Brazilian issuersLeverage communication and negotiation skills to gain user acceptance and optimize revenueDeliver insights on both existing product functionality / use cases as well as explore new product opportunitiesTrack customer & industry developments/trends to identify opportunities and respond accordinglyPromote and insightfully sell S&P sustainability solutions.
Coordinate with Sustainable Finance colleagues to uncover opportunities within the Brazilian portfolioProvide high-touch client service to the intermediary (primarily banking) community ensure S&P is well positioned on their transactional flowUtilize and maintain updated Salesforce data to monitor pipeline and opportunity status for revenue management, as well as contactsUnderstand customer problems and identify ways to help clients address themDevelop & maintain relationships with both new and existing Project Sponsors – communicate S&P's value proposition and market positioningProvide the pulse of the market to senior managementCollaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver an optimized customer experienceDevelop and manage the team's marketing collateralPrepare data & key insights for monthly reporting.What We're Looking For:Established Sales experience in Brazil Financing/Capital Markets industryWillingness in providing timely and premier service to internal/external stakeholdersDemonstrate sound ability to analyze client information quickly, respond logically, and use data to influence client purchase decisionsExtensive background in the debt capital marketsPositive, proactive attitude and ability to work well in teamsProven record of maintaining strong relationships with key finance market participantsStrong presentation, communication, and customer service skillsExceptional skills in listening to clients, articulating ideas and complex information in a clear and structured mannerDesire to continuously personally learn and help others develop as wellAvailability to travelBasic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree (Finance, Economics, or related field preferred)Full professional English levelA minimum of 5 to 7 years of Sales experience.
