Job Title: Business Systems SpecialistThe role of a business systems specialist involves ensuring that all financial applications adhere to the organization's IT policies.This entails developing plans to enforce compliance and standardize user management processes.Main responsibilities include evaluating security operation center reports to identify potential risks and pinpoint areas for improvement.To excel in this position, one needs to have hands-on knowledge of software development life cycles and project management methodologies.A thorough understanding of key accounting, financial management, and analysis processes is crucial, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, revenue recognition, budgeting, and bank interfaces.Candidates typically require a bachelor's degree in business, information technology, engineering, or a related field, along with relevant experience in technology project support and proficiency in applications such as JDE, Trintech Cadency, Workiva, Cognos Analytics, OneStream, and Varicent.Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and intermediate SQL query skills, are essential.Experience working in large enterprises with domestic and international locations, as well as off-shore or remote development/support teams, is also beneficial.
