Linux Infrastructure Engineer

Our organization is seeking a skilled Linux Infrastructure Engineer to join our high-availability team.We are committed to delivering exceptional results and exceeding performance expectations across various industries.As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for resolving data quality issues through root cause analysis while managing internal and external vendors; supporting on-call, incident management, problem, and change management processes; ensuring optimal accuracy and timeliness of real-time data services by implementing monitoring tools; collaborating with regional and global Market Data Infrastructure teams to share knowledge and experience; managing alerts requiring knowledge for resolutions and creating/updating resolutions into knowledge bases; incident lifecycle management from identification to resolution, minimizing business impact; change management for production changes to the ticker plant, including content and software updates; release management, event management, user support, and reporting.To succeed in this role, you will need:Extensive knowledge of Linux System Administration and scripting proficiency (Bash and/or Python preferred);Experience with Windows operating systems and networking/connectivity skills;Excellent communication and written English skills; Understanding of ITIL Foundation and IT best practices;Prior experience in banking, investment, or other financial IT environments is advantageous;Nice-to-have skills include experience with ITRS Geneos, EXEGY, or Market Data platforms and familiarity with AWS ECS, Google Cloud, or GitHub/GitLab.In return, we offer:A dynamic work environment within a top global institution;Fully remote or hybrid working options;Continuous learning and certification opportunities;A competitive salary and benefits package;Long-term career prospects with international exposure;An inclusive, multicultural team with regular knowledge-sharing events.
