As our Head of Marketing, you'll play a key role in realizing the vision of SumUp in the Brazilian market and positioning SumUp as one of the leading brands that provide multiple solutions for small business owners to help them do what they love.
You'll own and drive the development for all branding, creatives, social media, content, public relations and internal communications initiatives across the country.
The Head of Marketing will be growing the SumUp's brand, attracting new customers and keeping existing merchants excited about our products.
The position will be based in São Paulo.
**What you'll do**
- Plan and manage the marketing strategy around key objectives
- Own all brand, messaging, and positioning initiatives from ideation to execution across all PR, social and content channels
- Contribute to the overall marketing strategy and roadmap by working closely with key internal local and international stakeholders
- Prioritize and react to urgent communication needs and crisis management
- Coordinate the internal communications for the entire organization in Brazil
- Guide and coach a team of 18 marketing and communications professionals in the Branding, Creatives, Internal Communications, Social Media & Content and PR & External Communications teams.
**You'll be great for this position if**
- You have experience of working in hyper-growth and fast-paced environments ideally in B2C
- You possess a people leadership skill of crafting passionate and high performing teams in matrix set-ups
- You have experience in all marketing dimensions especially in branding, online & offline marketing, external communications and PR
- You have a good understanding of multi-product business strategies
- You have a strong creative and analytical mindset, carrying a passion for hands-on ideation, words and design as well as a solid grasp of data-driven decision-making.
- You have excellent presentation and English communication skills (verbal and written).
