AI Innovator WantedWe are seeking a skilled AI engineer to join our team and help us revolutionize the healthcare industry.About the RoleCreate intelligent systems that streamline staffing workflows using cutting-edge technologies like RAG, document intelligence, and structured extraction.Transform unstructured data into actionable insights to reduce time-to-fill, ensure compliance, increase revenue, and improve cash flow.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and own the AI function, defining architecture, best practices, and solutions for our platform and business.Build document AI pipelines for licenses, immunizations, I-9s, background checks, timesheets, and offers, enforcing strict JSON schemas, confidence scores, and text-span provenance.Integrate with enterprise systems, including ATS, compliance platforms, job boards, CRM/marketing systems, and task management tools.Automate text messages (SMS) campaigns and cadences triggered from ATS/CRM events, personalize copy, schedule sends, ingest replies/MMS docs, and auto-log activity.RequirementsStrong software engineering skills in Python and/or C#.Hands-on experience with LLM/RAG, document ingestion, schema'd extraction, validation, secure data design, APIs/webhooks, and event-driven workflows.Experience integrating QuickBooks Online or Xero and payroll tools for automated invoicing/payroll with audit trails.MLOps fundamentals: data/model versioning, CI/CD, monitoring, rollback.Nice-to-HavesHealthcare staffing/credentialing domain expertise.Resume parsing APIs or document intelligence services.iPaaS/workflow tools, queues, human-in-the-loop review UIs.Why UsFounding scope & ownership: Build the AI function—architecture, standards, roadmap.Executive air cover: Direct line to the Head of Engineering; CEO-level sponsorship to ship.Modern, open stack: Integrations across ATS, compliance, job boards, CRM/Marketing (HubSpot/Salesforce), VoIP/SMS, CMS, accounting/payroll, and reporting.Remote-first, pragmatic culture: Production over prototypes, HIPAA/PII first, human-in-the-loop where it matters.
