We are looking for a
hands-on, experienced Plant Manager
to lead our manufacturing operations and drive efficiency, quality, and team development.
Role Overview
:
As
Plant Manager
, you will oversee all production activities across two shifts, ensuring smooth operations, quality output, and a safe work environment.
You will work closely with the General Manager and have the opportunity to implement
Lean manufacturing practices
to enhance efficiency and throughput.
Key Responsibilities
:
Lead all plant operations
to ensure production goals for quality, efficiency, and safety are met.
Implement and sustain
Lean manufacturing
principles to drive continuous improvement.
Develop and mentor
supervisors and production employees to improve skill levels and engagement.
Maintain a
strong safety culture
and ensure compliance with regulations.
Monitor production schedules, workflow, and equipment maintenance to minimize downtime.
Drive quality improvements
to meet the needs of cabinet and furniture manufacturers.
Collaborate with the General Manager to optimize processes and support company objectives.
Manage labor, materials, and equipment resources effectively.
Foster a
team-oriented culture
that values accountability and problem-solving.
What We're Looking For
:
10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
, preferably in wood products, veneer, plywood, or related industries.
Strong knowledge of
Lean manufacturing
and continuous improvement methods.
Experience managing
multi-shift production
with 50+ employees.
Track record of
improving efficiency, reducing waste, and driving performance.
Ability to develop talent and build a
high-performance culture
.
Hands-on leadership style
—comfortable on the floor and engaging with the team.
Solid understanding of
maintenance, quality control, and safety standards
.
Strong communication and
problem-solving skills
.
