The Manager, Business Development shall explore potential new market opportunities to achieve long-term financial growth through increasing revenue and building great client connections.He / She shall work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, to initiate, develop, and maintain industry contacts and engage in networking activities to secure new business for the company.The incumbent shall apply knowledge, skills, and experience to evaluate the current performance of the group business and explore new opportunities to help the group reach its full potential.He / She shall have the necessary experience to source and establish strong relationships with external business partners and nurture them to become the company's most important customers.Growing the company's revenue by ensuring that customers are satisfied with the services given and developing new business prospects for the company are among the responsibilities of the Manager, Business Development.ResponsibilitiesAnalyse existing and potential markets, identify and secure business development opportunities, lead prospecting initiatives to detect and establish new opportunities and collaborations.Responsible for sales quota with the ambition to drive growth for the businessNegotiating business contracts and agreements with key customers and meeting established deadlines for the fulfilment of each customer's long-term goalsDeveloping and managing a portfolio of customers by ensuring that customers are satisfied with the services provided while identifying new business opportunities with the customers.Addressing and resolving customers' complaints and enquiriesBuild long-term relationships with new and existing customersCommunicating and collaborating with cross function stakeholders in the form of promotion, design, marketing, sales, and logistics to ensure that key customers' needs are met.Compiling reports on account progress, goals, and forecasts for stakeholders.Initiates, develops, and maintains industry contacts and engage in networking activities such as exhibitions to secure new business.Promotes corporate solutions to potential and existing customers.Develop new business opportunities and accounts with value added services to customers' processes.Other ad-hoc assignments by reporting superior Qualifications & RequirementsA bachelor's degree or Post-Graduate Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business, Finance or equivalent.Polytechnic Diplomas or lower may be considered with corresponding working experience.Minimum of 5 years of working experience in business development and new customer acquisition in Tobacco industryProficient in Microsoft OfficePossess excellent level of resourcefulness, tech savvy and customer relationship managementPossess initiative and able to work independently in a fast-paced environmentIndependent and able to work effectively with minimum guidancePossess high level of analytical skills, interpersonal skills and able to build rapport easily across all levelsSelf-motivated and achievement drivenResilient, creative and thinks out of the boxExcellent negotiation and sales-generation skillsAbility to communicate effectively at all levels#J-*****-Ljbffr
