Zurich Risk Engineers travel to customer locations to perform risk assessments and advise customers in a wide array of industries, including construction, healthcare, manufacturing and more. This training program blends classroom instruction with structured, on-the-job training at locations across the U. S. It offers an exciting career path within a global insurance leader, allowing participants to work in a dynamic environment, travel to customer locations, perform risk assessments, and help manage customer risks. Participants will collaborate with a global network of over 900 specialists, access advanced risk management tools, and work with underwriting teams.The position is a remote role within the assigned territory with *****% travel. If your assigned territory covers 12k miles annually, a company car may be provided after successful completion of the program (if applicable); otherwise, you will be reimbursed for your mileage. If selected for the position, your driving record will be examined.Basic QualificationsGraduated with or pursuing a bachelor's degree on target to graduate by June ****Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsValid U. S. driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record historyPreferred QualificationsEngineering degree in Fire Protection, Chemical, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent programProficient in Microsoft OfficeCorporate internship experience or corporate work experienceLeadership and involvement in extracurricular activities and on campus organizations and/or community, public service or similar activitiesZurich's Risk Engineering Trainee program is a fully remote opportunity available to candidates in the following markets: Greenville or Columbia, South Carolina.At Zurich, compensation for roles is influenced by a variety of factors, including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. We encourage candidates with salary expectations beyond the provided range to apply as they will be considered based on their experience, skills, and education.The compensation indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled.
