- For our department Financial Accounting & Reporting we are seeking to appoint a Financial Reporting Actuary commencing immediately on a permanent, full-time basis.
**You can look forward to**
- Compiling and processing actuarial reserve analyses (SII, IFRS, AAOIFI) and planning and forecasting information.
- Reporting and analysis to meet regulatory requirements.
- Drawing up quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS; including preparation of various disclosure requirements.
- Drawing up quarterly and annual economic valuation in accordance with Solvency II.
- Providing reporting packs to the signing Actuary and External Auditors
- Analysis of portfolio / cohorts and related date entries to ensure modelling applied is consistent and in line with reporting standards, under various accounting regimes.
**You come equipped with**
- Degree in Actuarial Science
- Fellow or Associate of the Society of Actuaries or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years' valuations experience within a life insurance or reinsurance environment
- Working knowledge of technical requirements and creative problem solving skills
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks and responsibilities
- Competent skills in MS Office, SAP, VBA, any other programming languages
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
