We are seeking a highly skilled Master Backend Developer to play a foundational role in building an AI-native future for power utilities.Candidates must have strong expertise in React.js and experience with Golang, Node.js or Java, with a desire to adopt Golang as the primary back-end technology.The successful candidate will design, implement and maintain APIs, services and distributed systems that form the backbone of our operating system.This will include collaborating with AI engineers to integrate models, embeddings and agent services into back-end systems and ensuring outputs are production-ready and aligned with enterprise utility requirements.The ideal candidate will also be responsible for front-end development, transforming legacy workflows into modern codebases using cloud-native best practices and partnering with security leaders to ensure all services adhere to stringent utility-sector regulations.Front-End Development: Build, implement and maintain front-end applicationsBack-End Architecture & Development: Design, implement and maintain APIs, services and distributed systemsAi Integration: Collaborate with Ai engineers to integrate models, embeddings and agent servicesSystem Modernization: Transform legacy workflows into modern codebasesSecurity & Compliance: Partner with security leaders to ensure all services adhere to stringent utility-sector regulationsRequired skills and qualifications include 5+ years of software engineering experience in SaaS or enterprise environments, strong proficiency in React, Python and either Golang, Node.js or Java, demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality code in fast-moving teams and solid understanding of databases, message queues and distributed architectures.This is an exceptional opportunity to join a forward-thinking organization and contribute to the development of innovative solutions that shape the future of power utilities.No relocation assistance or benefits are available at this time.Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
