Job Title: Accounting SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in accounting principles and a passion for delivering high-quality financial solutions.The successful candidate will be responsible for providing end-to-end project services, including implementation, integration, upgrade, and migration of our clients' Calypso systems.They will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of projects and will be required to manage deliverables, ensuring transparency of risks, issues, and dependencies.Key responsibilities include:Establishing comprehensive and integrated approaches to defining, setting up, or troubleshooting issues arising from day-to-day activities on greenfield Calypso instances.Developing necessary solutions to Back Office (BO) / Accounting / Operations / Finance requirements.Creating and delivering assigned projects/tasks and revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.Managing and establishing methodologies and best practices for BO/Accounting/Operations/Finance requirements.Ensuring supporting documents are complete, current, and appropriately stored.Working closely with relevant business and technology stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient implementation of the project(s).Submitting status reports to stakeholders; coordinating and providing updates to steering committees.To succeed in this role, you will need to have:2+ years of experience working in Capital Markets and on Calypso.Strong knowledge of accounting principles.Deep knowledge of Financial products cross-assets.Proven track record of delivery of accounting and finance-related solutions (settings) within Calypso.Experience of adherence to governance frameworks/implementation and handover to BAU.Comprehensive knowledge of trade flow, trading systems, and related concepts and technology, including valuation and client/market risk management.Excellent analytical skills, understanding of project life cycles, and ability to act in an entrepreneurial manner to ensure the requirements from the business are gathered in the appropriate manner.Proven analytical, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Comfortable with direct communication with all levels of technical and business resources.Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Experience with working in a highly collaborative and dynamic multi-team environment.BenefitsThis is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading company in the industry.We offer a competitive salary, excellent benefits package, and opportunities for career growth and development.What We Offer* Competitive salary and benefits package* Opportunities for career growth and development* Collaborative and dynamic work environment* Excellent training and support* Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance
