What's the challenge of being a Solutions Architect?You'll be part of the Computational Agronomy (CompAg) team, the group responsible for codifying agronomy at Syngenta Digital.We transform science and data into agronomic intelligence, powering models and insights that farmers and advisors use around the world.As a Solutions Architect, you'll help design the systems that make this possible: Cloud architectures that connect models, data, and products, enabling scale, interoperability, and real-world impact.You'll collaborate with scientists, engineers, and product owners to turn research into production-ready solutions that live within the Insights Engine and Cropwise platforms.Job Description (responsibilities)Design and evolve the architecture that supports agronomic intelligence across modeling domains (crop growth, yield prediction, soil, weather, pests, and more);Develop integration patterns connecting AI models, geospatial data, and digital platforms;Partner with scientists and engineers to operationalize agronomic models at scale;Ensure performance, security, and scalability across cloud-native solutions;Mentor engineering teams, guiding design discussions and code quality decisions;Drive innovation and promote best practices in architecture, MLOps, and DevOps.Qualifications8+ years of experience in software development and architecture roles that include the use of Geospatial Processing and/or Computer Vision and/or Machine Learning.Strong proficiency in Python and cloud-native systems (AWS preferred).Solid understanding of geospatial and agronomic data processing (weather, soil, crop management, remote sensing).Experience with Computer Vision and AI/ML model orchestration.Ability to translate complex scientific and business requirements into technical solutions.Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (DynamoDB, MongoDB, Redis).Experience with microservices and event-driven architectures.Strong background in AWS, including Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, MSK, and API Gateway.Knowledge of automated testing and CI/CD best practices.Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.Ability to translate complex scientific and business challenges into scalable technical solutions.Fluent English and strong communication skills to collaborate in a global environment.Additional InformationBeyond the amazing ecosystem, what do you get?We believe great experiences start from within — that's why our benefits take care of you across all dimensions: health, wellness, family, career, and quality of life.BenefitsHealth Insurance, with national coverage — no monthly cost for you or your dependents;Dental Insurance;Conexa Health: psychological and nutritional support;Wellhub (Gympass): for you and your dependents to stay active your way;EAP (Employee Assistance Program): psychological, legal, and financial support;Childcare assistance;Extended maternity/paternity leave — because presence is also care;Meal/Food Allowance on iFood Card;Extra flexible benefit also via iFood Card;Vidalink: 50% subsidy on prescription medications at partner pharmacies;Access to personal and technical development platforms;Life insurance;Partnership with SESC-MG to enjoy benefits in education, health, and wellness;Flexible hours, regardless of work model.#J-*****-Ljbffr
