As a key member of our global team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our real-time data systems.Your expertise in Linux system administration will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing these systems to meet the demands of our high-traffic trading and data services.Key Responsibilities:You will work closely with regional and global market data infrastructure teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that enhance the overall quality of service.Manage and resolve infrastructure issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance of our real-time data services.Collaborate with internal and external vendors to resolve data-quality issues through root cause analysis and effective issue resolution.Implement monitoring tools to detect data issues proactively, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery on a real-time basis.Develop and maintain knowledge bases, run books, scripts, and IT rules to facilitate efficient alert and incident management.Lead incident management from identification to resolution, minimizing business impact in the production environment.Ensure seamless change management by implementing processes for making production changes, including mandatory updates, content software changes, and upgrades.Support release management, event management, user support, and reporting activities.Requirements:A minimum of 7 years of experience in infrastructure systems or production support roles.Highly skilled in Linux system administration, with experience in Windows operating systems.Scripting proficiency in Bash and/or Python is preferred.Strong understanding of networking and connectivity skills, including multicast routing, switches, and TCP/IP.Excellent communication and oral/written English skills are essential.Familiarity with ITIL foundation and best practices.Prior experience in banking, investment, or other financial IT environments is advantageous.The following nice-to-have skills would be beneficial: experience with ITRS, Geneos, Exegy, Wombat, Vela, or Market Data Platforms; familiarity with AWS ECS, AWS VPC, Google Cloud; experience with GitHub, GitLab, and automation pipelines.What We Offer:A dynamic and future-oriented work environment within a leading global institution.Flexible working arrangements, including fully remote or hybrid options.Opportunities for continuous learning and certification.A competitive salary and benefits package.Long-term career prospects with international exposure.An inclusive, multicultural team with regular knowledge-sharing and team events.
