Job Description Boeing Brazil is seeking Mid-Career Hydraulic Systems Engineer , reporting to the Hydraulic Systems Engineering Manager, working out of the São José dos Campos office.The Mid-Career Hydraulic Systems Engineer will join the Hydraulic Systems team supporting development and sustaining programs.Position Responsibilities: Develop system requirements and define system architecture.Develop or review hardware and software designs and associated interface specifications.Ownership of component level design requirements.Analyze system performance through modeling and simulation.Support the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups.Perform and document analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.Perform detail design development and modification of mechanical and fluid system installations.Develop, verify, validate, and certify designs through both laboratory and airplane testing.Research and development of technologies for potential future applications.This position is expected to be 100% onsite.The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.Must have a degree in Engineering.Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).Proficient in both verbal and written communications skills in the English Language.Experience with installations design and release for mechanical systems.Experience with 3D modeling software and product data management software (CATIA, PDM or similar) Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience): Experience in Mechanical-Hydraulic Systems.Experience working with integrated cross-functional teams Project management skills.Experience working in engineering product development.Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.Additional Information: This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil.Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil.Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll.Please also submit a CV or resume written in English.Applications for this position will be accepted through November 30th, ****.Language Requirements: English Education: Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.Security Clearance: This position does not require a Security Clearance.Visa Sponsorship: Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Contingent Upon Award Program This position is not contingent upon program award Shift: Not a Shift Worker (Brazil)
