Production Manager (Day Shift)Health, Dental, & Vision Insurance, Employer Paid Life Insurance, Short Term and Long Term Disability, 403b option, PTO after 90 days, Various community discounts and perks, 30% Stores discount, Multiple training and development opportunitiesGoodwill Houston is a non-profit organization that serves people who need help – people who have barriers to employment - people who are looking for a new start.We are proud that we are a second chance employer.Our success comes from our Goodwill Family, the honest, passionate and innovative Team Members who assist our customers and donors, keep our locations clean and inviting, while being advocate for or mission every day.Goodwill is a place to belong, a place to make a difference and a place that "Changes Lives Through the power of Work."The Production Managerposition provides an opportunity, in a professional setting, to excel in a growing, fast paced, participant focused role, working both independently and as a member of a team, to positively impact the lives of others.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvides day to day management of the Production Team, including recruitment, coaching, supervision, scheduling, development.Works with team to process apparel and hard goods while maintaining or exceeding departmental KPIs.Manage and influence team by communicating clear company goals daily, weekly, and monthly (see production standards).Ensure the proper handling and processing of incoming donation flow in and out of the store according to GWH policies and procedures.Keep abreast of merchandise knowledge, industry trends and competitive pricing.Ensure accurate and timely reporting of assigned personnel's time and production through various production reports.Ability to accurately operate store systems and ensure financial and statistical counts are completed (donor counts, production standards, etc.)Responsible to prioritize workload assignments and communicate priorities throughout the shift; works closely with the team members to correct performance issues and resolve day-to-day process problems.Identify operational issues, structure resolutions, and follow-through to deliver results.Coaching and performance management of a high performing team up to ******* team membersDevelop a culture of safety, security, and loss prevention to reduce on-the-job injuries, customer injuries, and shrinkage.Commits to oversee GWH's compliance to local, federal, and state laws and regulations.Performs other duties as assigned by Management.Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED, 1 to 2 years of retail sales experience.Management/Supervisor one or more years' experience is preferred.Must have knowledge in a variety of computer software applications; experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Strong sense of urgency, flexibility, multitask and willingness to adapt to change.Well-developed production management skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Understanding of KPIs and experience tracking KPIs.Good time management and organizational skills.Willing and able to travel to any/all sites within the GWH territory and work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.#J-*****-Ljbffr
