At Boeing, we innovate and collaborate to make the world a better place.We're committed to fostering an environment for every teammate that's welcoming, respectful and inclusive, with great opportunity for professional growth.Find your future with us.Boeing Brazil is seeking a Fuels System Manager, reporting to the Propulsion and ECS Senior Manager, working out of the São José Dos Campos office.The Fuels System Manager will lead engineering teams responsible for designing, building, testing, and certifying the fuels system for the current and future commercial airplanes.These critical roles will lead engineering teams developing the hardware and software for the system.The position includes responsibility for developing and executing project and process plans, implementing policies and procedures, setting operational goals for the team, and acquiring financial and technical resources.This role includes mentoring, developing, and motivating direct reports.Candidates applying for this position should be comfortable providing technical and project management of both Boeing employees and suppliers, as well as leading process improvement activities and utilizing cutting-edge methods for managing team workload and resources.The ability to develop and maintain positive and healthy relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports is a key attribute to being successful in this role.Position Responsibilities:Manage a team of Engineers in the development, validation, verification, integration and certification of Fuels System.Be responsible for overall planning, execution, and success of complex projects.Partner closely with suppliers to establish project plans and manage team execution.Maintain resource and skill forecasts to meet project and daily operating requirements.Continuously develop and improve the Fuels Function.Manages employees performing engineering and technical tasks in the areas of the BCA Propulsion Systems engineering.Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures, and sets operational goals.Coordinates engagement with BCA engineering counterparts located at USA sites: Charleston, Puget Sound, and Long Beach.Acquires resources for projects and processes, including budget and staffing.Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports.Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes.Provides oversight and approval of approaches to compliance with regulatory requirements and certification processes.Leads and fosters process improvements.Develops and maintains a culture of seeking to understand, courage to speak up, active listening and servant leadership to manage, develop, and motivate employees.This position is expected to be 100% onsite.The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.Must have a degree in Engineering.Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia -
