Murex Consultant

Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Murex professional to join our team as a consultant.The ideal candidate will have strong technical capabilities, a solid understanding of datamart, and at least 2 years of experience with Murex in a support capacity.Key Responsibilities:Implement, configure, and develop Murex systems in areas like datamart, MXML pre-trade and post-trade workflows, RTBS, and MDCS.Coordinate with stakeholders to gather, document, and verify requirements.Analyse and provide recommendations based on related Murex implementation experience.Ensure compliance with client SDLC lifecycle and documentation requirements.Support IT and business audits and technology risk assessments.Develop and test database and infrastructure changes.Perform technical reviews of production changes.Document issues and resolutions clearly within confluence.Maintain and enhance the Control-M scheduling tool for intraday and end of day batches.Collaborate directly with business users across the bank to diagnose and resolve business critical issues.Resolve issues related to risk, pricing, PnL, market data, market operations, EOD, interfaces, reporting.Communicate issue details to vendors and coordinate testing fixes/solutions.Act as an intermediary between business and vendor teams.Debug and enhance bespoke java processes supporting the Murex implementation.
