Financial Operations ManagerThis is a key role that oversees accounting and financial operations across our business.The Financial Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, implementing strong controls, and supporting decision-making with timely analysis.You'll work closely with the leadership team to manage budgets, streamline processes, and provide insights that improve profitability.This is a hands-on position where you'll both manage the numbers day-to-day and help design the systems that will carry the company forward.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledgerPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsManage cash flow, forecasts to support business growthEnsure compliance with tax filings, audits, and regulatory requirementsImplement and improve accounting systems, policies, and proceduresPartner with operations leadership to track business performance and profitabilityProvide detailed financial analysis and reporting to guide business decisionsWhat We're Looking For:Careful attention to detail and accuracy in financial workStrong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environmentA proactive mindset—able to spot issues early and propose solutionsClear communicator, both written and spokenStrong knowledge of accounting systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for financial modeling and reportingCollaborative approach to working with operations and leadership teamsMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldValid registration with relevant professional bodyAt least 5–7 years of professional experience in accounting/financeStrong knowledge of full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and internal controlsExperience with GAAP or IFRS reporting standardsAdvanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets for financial modeling and reportingStrong English communication skills (written and spoken)Preferred:Professional certification in accounting or financeExperience working with US-based companies, subsidiaries, or international operationsSoftware Experience:Microsoft Office: must haveQuickbooks Online: Strong preferenceToast: Nice to haveGrowth Potential:This role offers the opportunity to help shape the financial foundation of a growing business.As the business expands, this role will play a key part in building out the finance function.
