Join us in our mission — Making a House Your Home.FinanceThe Regional Financial Controller LATAM, within the wider controllership team, oversees all financial controller activities in the region, ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
The role ensures accounting and financial practices align with corporate policies and local regulations, providing strategic support to senior management decision-making.
This involves stakeholder management with internal teams (Tax, Treasury, Shared Services) and external parties (auditors, banks, tax authorities).
The position reports to the local Finance Director and Global Corporate Controller.About the roleThe role is part of the newly formed Essential Home Finance Controllership team, tasked with establishing the overall Corporate Finance and Finance Controlling functions for the business.
We are building an agile, entrepreneurial, results-oriented team focused on action, accountability, local ownership, and mutual care.
Responsibilities include designing and managing:Record to report, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash functions in collaboration with shared servicesGroup Finance Policies, Standards, and ProceduresInternal financial controls frameworkGroup consolidation, reporting, and audit processesExternal financial and statutory reporting and complianceOther financial compliance like local taxesYour responsibilitiesEnsure monthly financial reports comply with IFRS and group policies.Prepare annual statutory accounts and meet local compliance standards.Maintain accurate monthly accounts through shared service providers.Review key balance sheet reconciliations and approve high-risk assumptions.Sign off on regional trial balances and balance sheets.Analyze financial trends versus forecasts and budgets.Manage reconciliation between statutory and management accounts.Coordinate audits and implement recommendations.Ensure consistency between external reports and internal systems.Cash Flow, PTP & OTC: Lead cash flow forecasting, identify insights, and drive improvements.Oversee PTP and OTC processes and KPIs, ensuring proactive issue resolution.Controls & IFRS Compliance: Develop and maintain internal controls, stay updated on IFRS changes.Tax & Adjacent Processes: Manage VAT and indirect tax submissions, support payroll, insurance, FX management.Stakeholder & Team Management: Build relationships with internal/external stakeholders, monitor service quality, lead and mentor finance teams.Transformation to Standalone Group: Drive transformation from Reckitt to Essential Home, implement new processes, deploy ERP and consolidation systems, and build a new finance shared service function.The experience we're looking forAccountancy qualification; higher education in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields.Senior leadership experience in financial controllership.Deep knowledge of IFRS and local standards.Experience managing outsourced financial controlling providers.Experience with group reporting, external audits, SAP, Hyperion, S4H, and MS Office.Fluency in English is essential.The skills for successPositive attitude, trust-building, process innovation, and standardization skills.Hands-on, collaborative, big-picture thinker, able to prioritize and solve problems.Change agent, effective communicator, and resilient in dynamic environments.Achievement-oriented with influencing skills and team collaboration.
