We are seeking a highly skilled software engineer with 4+ years of experience producing commercial-grade software that is highly maintainable and supportable.The ideal candidate will have proven on-time delivery experience, strong problem-solving abilities, and be trustworthy, team-oriented, and transparent.As a software engineer, you'll work on scalable cloud-based solutions that make a measurable impact on sustainability and operational efficiency in the retail and commercial fuel industry.Key Responsibilities:Maintain and enhance existing LAMP-based web applications to ensure continued stability and performance.Design and develop modern application components, including both front-end features and back-end services.Take technical ownership of features, contributing to functional and technical specifications to align with business goals.Deliver high-quality product features and updates independently, while proactively seeking guidance when needed.Write and execute unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.Investigate and resolve defects identified during QA and user acceptance testing cycles.Participate in daily standups and weekly team meetings to discuss priorities, progress, and share ideas or technical insights.Required Skills and Qualifications:Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.4+ years of full-stack development experience using PHP, Linux (AWS EC2), Apache, and MySQL to build and maintain production-grade commercial web applications.Hands-on experience with AWS CloudFormation and deploying containerized applications using AWS ECS (Docker).Solid understanding of Agile development practices, object-oriented programming, and multi-tiered software architectures.Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively to meet deadlines and maintain high quality.Benefits:15 days paid time off (PTO), one floating day, three sick days, and designated national holidays.About Us:We provide outsourced development resources to North American companies, focusing on sustainable software solutions.
