Job DescriptionAs a backend developer, you will collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to design, implement, maintain, improve, and document backend systems for machine learning features.You will manage and optimize databases for application storage and improve observability and reliability for distributed workloads.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and maintain backend systems using Python and FastAPI.Manage and optimize databases such as Postgres, MongoDB, and Milvus.Improve observability and reliability for distributed workloads using structured logging, metrics, retry/backoff strategies, and traces.Maintain and orchestrate containerized development workflows using Docker, Docker Compose, and Kubernetes.Raise the bar for testing to ensure high code quality and reliability.We welcome all individuals and do not discriminate on the basis of gender identity and expression, race, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, color, religion, national origin, age, marital status, or any other protected category.
